Our tour driver Xavier drove us to the 11-story pyramidal Marriott Hotel in La Mariscal, the tourist area north of Old Quito. The lobby of the Quito Marriott is open and airy. We had a very comfortable room and Peter enjoyed a quick dip in the swimming pool.
